SOL LatexBondaSBR Latex (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Latex) is a high-performance cementing additive used in oilwell cement systems to enhance fluid loss control, flexibility, and bonding strength. Supplied as a stable liquid emulsion, it is designed to improve the mechanical and sealing properties of cement slurries, ensuring effective zonal isolation and long-term well integrity.
When incorporated into cement systems, SBR Latex forms a continuous polymer film within the cement matrix during hydration. This creates a flexible and low-permeability structure that reduces filtrate loss, improves adhesion to casing and formation, and minimizes the risk of micro-annulus formation. Its elastic nature allows the set cement to withstand mechanical stresses, pressure fluctuations, and thermal cycling without cracking. SBR Latex is widely used in primary and remedial cementing operations and performs reliably across demanding environments, including offshore, deepwater, and high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) wells.
