SOL PacLvis a PAC LV (Polyanionic Cellulose – Low Viscosity) a high-performance polymer additive used in water-based drilling fluid systems for effective fluid loss control while maintaining low viscosity. In drilling operations, it is essential to control filtrate invasion into permeable formations without significantly increasing the viscosity of the fluid, which can impact circulation and pumping efficiency. PAC LV is specifically designed to deliver this balance, ensuring optimal drilling performance.

When added to drilling fluids, PAC LV hydrates and forms a thin, low-permeability filter cake on the wellbore wall, reducing fluid loss and protecting the formation. At the same time, its low-viscosity characteristics help maintain smooth fluid flow, improving hydraulics and overall system efficiency. It is compatible with water-based mud (WBM) systems and performs reliably across a wide range of conditions, including offshore, extended reach drilling (ERD), and moderate to high-temperature environments.
