SOL FibroSeal (Cellulose Fiber FMC)is a high-performance, fibrous lost circulation material (LCM) used in drilling fluid systems to control fluid loss and enhance wellbore stability. Derived from processed natural cellulose, it is specifically engineered to provide effective bridging and plugging of fractures, pores, and permeable zones. Its fibrous structure allows it to interlock and form a strong network within the formation, making it highly effective in sealing both micro and macro loss zones.
When added to drilling fluids, cellulose fibers create a reinforcing matrix that complements other LCM materials, improving overall sealing efficiency. It is particularly effective in forming a flexible and durable barrier that reduces fluid invasion while maintaining circulation. Being lightweight, non-toxic, and biodegradable, it is suitable for environmentally sensitive operations. Cellulose Fiber FMC grade is compatible with both water-based (WBM) and oil-based mud (OBM) systems and performs reliably across a wide range of drilling conditions, including offshore, extended reach drilling (ERD), and high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) environments.
